PHYSICOCHEMICAL, FORMULATION, AND EVALUATION OF ANTIFUNGAL HERBAL SOAP USING CURCUMA AMADA ROXBURGH AND PRUNUS DULCIS

Objective: Mango ginger (Curcuma amada Roxburgh) belongs to the Zingiberaceae family, a type of annual plant. It is commonly used for culinary and therapeutic purposes, which also has maximum amount health benefits. The main objective study formulation antifungal herbal soap alternate chemical products. Methods: In present study, aqueous, ethanol, chloroform extract mango were subjected qualitative quantitative phytochemical analysis determined antioxidant activity using DPPH assay FRAP assay. Furthermore, ash moisture content rhizome was analyzed. aqueous in GC-MS identify compounds ginger. oil extracted from by well-diffusion method against three fungi, namely, Candida tropicalis, auris, albicans. Using almond oil, Herbal Soap formulated. Result: This shows that greater number carbohydrates, phenol, flavonoids, than other extracts. Antifungal observed at various concentrations extract, highest zone inhibition 1.4 cm C. auris. formulated good aroma, color – mustard yellow. base nature its pH 8.9. Conclusion: According above studies, may rectify problems fungal skin infections.
